Vintage Xylonite Faux Tortoishell Brush.

These brushes are in good condition and although from the 1950's do not appear to have been used.

One hairbrush complete with label. One clothes brush. Xylonite was the name given by Daniel Spill to plastic very similar to celluloid. The name comes from the Greek " nylon" meaning wood.

The product have a wood or shell finish.
